Story Behind The Song

I wrote on my site that my brother just gives me his castaway songs, so he churned out this gem.the first write I put music to, I wrote back "You can smell this from Albuquerque" and in a e-mail back he sent this rewrite and said "OK my brother, make it pretty", and it is. I and my wife read the simple words, and right when you think all the beautiful love songs have been written,this moving piece just struck us with so much feeling.It's what real love is. After arranging the music and verse the simple addition of " to me" in the chorus made the melody work beautifully .
