Story Behind The Song

I started writing this in 2013 on my piano. It started with creating a chord pattern, and I wondered if I could write a song with the same chord pattern for both verse and chorus. Sounds silly I know, but the melody developed quickly and then the lyrics came. It sat in my file of songs for a long time. When my daughter Jenna was home for Christmas, she heard the song and was inspired to help rewrite the lyrics. After that I knew we needed to get to the recording studio and cut the song.

Song Description

Undone is a song of a woman stepping into her power. She identified herself thru the eyes of the man she was with, trying to please him. She realizes that she has a voice, and her own power and worth that mean so much more to her, and she releases those chains and is Undone, Naked today, Ready to Grow.
