Story Behind The Song
Not having heard a good trombone song in a long time, I wrote this song on a cold, rainy day in Portland OR, in 1998 while taking care of my 2 year old son. I put the strength of his character, and the constant steady rain storm power.
Song Description
First of all there is no bridge in this song. Why? It's about the bone. Not the bridge. Aliens don't use bridges they use space ships. So for those who are waiting for the bridge forget it! This is a movement. It only has one mood. This song is about an alien bone. I used the trombone to symbolize it (Bone) It's a brass thing. Anyway I tried to capture the mood of a terrestrial being crying out in this bone, and nothing is happening, except the bone is just being a bone.
