Lyrics
A PIRATE'S LIFE
From the Black Hills of Dakota, to the northern hills of Tennessee.
I chased my hopes and memories, all the way to New Orleans.
And then I found my answers, on a ship to Martinique.
I feel just like a pirate, chasin' gold and jewels upon the sea.
Scrubbin' desk and dishes, just a place I want to be.
And as I smell that sea air, I've never felt quite so free.
I have found my place upon the ocean, always love the ports-o-call.
A pirate's life is never simple, I know one day I'll have it all, have it all.
I dream I am a pirate, born two hundred years ago.
Plundering ports and villages, from San Juan to Mexico.
Then I'd settle down, on the coast of Curacao.
A pirate's life is on the ocean, always love those ports-o-call.
A Pirate's life is never simple, I know one day I'll have it all, have it all.
Break
A pirate's life is on the ocean, always love those ports-o-call.
A Pirate's life is never simple, I know one day I'll have it all, have it all.
