Lyrics
Old movie flickers black and white
Pilot flies through a night clear and so bright
High and fast, straight and true
He's headin' for the target zone
Target's clear and he's flyin' on alone
By the light of the moon
Outside the stars are shinin' bright
Like the movie's sky and on this perfect night
My sights are set on you
There's a Bombardier's Moon tonight
With target clear you'll be in my sights
An' I'll fly into your heart
And I will fall
Into your arms
By the light of a Bombardier's Moon
I'd been circ'lin' around an' round
Steering clear afraid I got shot down
Guess it's dumb but it's true
Now I'm leavin' all my clouds behind
Got nothin' at all but this mission on my mind
And the mission is you
There's a Bombardier's Moon tonight
With target clear you'll be in my sights
An' I'll fly into your heart
And I will fall
Into your arms
By the light of a Bombardier's Moon
Sky crisp and clear and the stars shine bright tonight
Searchlights ain't gonna find me
Slipstreamin' my fears behind me
In this flight to your heart
inst
And with my mission accomplished I'll land straight and firm smooth and true
Knowin' I got you
Under the light
The light of a Bombardier's Moon.
