Orignally intended to be a lesbian teen song, but slowly morphed into an anthem for any young woman who, though hopeful for love, isn't concerned about getting hurt along the way and realizes that is part of living life. A hopeful risk taker.

Song about a young woman who doesn't fit into the world but just doesn't give a shit. The singer is her own person, so don't tell her "don't". Great for film lead in, or outro. Not angst ridden, just joyful with a touch of don't "f" with me about it.
