I wrote this about the crazy, weird, almost numb-like feeling of being totally lost in love -- even if the other person doesn't feel that way. Its a feeling like when you were younger and you had Davy Jones posters on your bedroom wall and you truly believed he was singing to you. This song is about that maddening infatuation.
