Story Behind The Song

Written for a wonderful lady and a good friend (Nyle), who was coming to grips with her passing into the next world/Heaven. What seemed difficult for her to grasp and for me to encourage with consoling words was made easier by composing a melody on the guitar that helped her move forward and helped me let go. Her favorite spiritual place on earth was the Nile river, and in her last moments she could imagine herself floating down the river into Gods waiting arms.
