The Great Escape - by Elma Bernstein

Story Behind The Song

This piece of music was composed by Elmer Bernstein for the 1963 movie "The Great Escape".

Song Description

This is my rendition of the piece. It is probably one of the first movie sound tracks I was very impressed with when I first heard it sometime in the late sixties. All of the orchestral instruments for this piece were played by John A. Minardi using the Vienna Instruments Library stand-alone version. Recording, mix and mastering performed by John A. Minardi.
