Story Behind The Song
I used to drive my cool 65 Corvair with reverse chorme wheels and an eight track from the Jersey shore through the Jersey Pine Barrens late at night when the air was cooling down and the mist would just hang along the ground. It was cool but eery, and your eyes would play tricks on you. You would turn on the am radio and get strange stations that had strange shows or just static. Decided to write a song that captured that mood and feeling. Just within the last year I pulled it out and record it with a few local friend / musicians.

Destiny
Verse 1
Looking for a light in the dark horizon
Image of the past Fade to black
A mist of lost souls in the air
Looking for a way to the other side
Chorus:
Road signs no direction
Headlights bright but you can't see
Searching for life endless highway
Destiny
Destiny
Verse 2
Radio plays idle conversation
Unknown voices loud and clear
Meaning of life false perceptions
The future holds what no one sees
Chorus
Bridge:
Looking for ways in your mind
Places to go to get by
Living in worlds without time
Destiny

Verse 3:
Seduction lies in the dark of night
Mystic forces call your name
In your mind you see and opening
Close the door lose the key

Ending Destiny (2x)
