Lyrics

Monterrey Coastline Ac 2003, 2007 & 2008
By John Poulton

Monterrey Coastline, there are only two blues there
The sea and the skyline, lit up in the sunshine
Gonna get myself on a plane I'm gonna see her again
My Monterrey Coastline

Oh sure I love my own home town where the rain keeps pouring down
And I love the Monday morning traffic line
I love my office desk, the shackles and horse hair vest
But I'm outta here when I've served my time (for the...)

Cos this nine to five is hell; it sure ain't Carmel
I watch my life just slipping away
This Atlantic coast won't do it's not got Pacific view
I gotta get out of here; I pray for the day

You only get one chance and it can't be missed
You gotta be living you can't just exist (go to the)
