Wedding of a Cowboy

Story Behind The Song

I have spent my entire life as a working cowboy, and ranch manager, in the most remote regions of the western United States. I have seen many a cowboy get married, and quit this occupation, for it offers so little financially, and demands the bearing of so much hardship.Something most men are reluctant to do to the woman they love.I take my hat off to the men that make that choice..................and to the men who won't. End

Song Description

Western folk, a genre all it's own. This song however is for everyone. It is about the change that every man has to make when he decides to get married. Freedom and independence are the two most dramatic changes one faces. Lots of guitar and harmonica in this piece.
