Story Behind The Song
The song is about a boy who grew up without his big brother due to the "war on drugs". The release of of his brother from jail is cause for a huge party, the whole town will celebrate.
Song Description
The theme of the song is "we have a great reason for a party". For me, 1960's New Orleans music has always been the best party music ever, and I have incorporated those roots into this song.

Lyrics
I just got the call from my big brother
He saw the parole board yesterday
And he's finally getting out
My brother's finally getting out
When he went down with his third strike I was just a kid
They grabbed him in the playground, they said he was selling lids
But he's finally getting out
My brother's finally getting out
(Chorus)
This time tomorrow when he walks through the door
He's gonna be smiling like he never did before
Crank up the guitars and beat your drum
Gonna make the bayou ring til the morning comes
Call out the neighbours bring out all your friends
My big brother is coming home again
We gonna roast a pig and we got crawfish stew
The whole town is coming to a party on the bayou
My brother's is getting out
My brother's finally is getting out
The old man's cleaning up his whiskey still
Gonna drink some moonshine up on the hill
My brother's getting out
My brother's finally getting out
(Chorus)
This time tomorrow when he walks through the door
He's gonna be smiling like he never did before
Crank up the guitars and beat your drum
Gonna make the bayou ring til the morning comes
Call out the neighbours bring out all your friends
My big brother is coming home again
(Slide guitar)
(Chorus)
This time tomorrow when he walks through the door
He's gonna be smiling like he never did before
Crank up the guitars and beat your drum
Gonna make the bayou ring til the morning comes
Call out the neighbours bring out all your friends
My big brother is coming home again
(Repeat)
