The Last Meadow

Story Behind The Song

When I was a child I played in the Meadows that spotted the little town that I lived in. The Meadows were a place full of all kinds of life, at all times celebrating the miraculous fecundity of the Earth. These Meadows were a place of joy. They are gone.

Song Description

The Last Meadow is scored for Harp, Violin, Viola,Cello, Flute, Clarinet ,and Choir. It is a slow melodic piece with three themes - my romance with the Meadows, the Meadows themselves, and the last theme I can only describe as a heavenly theme with angels.
