Story Behind The Song
I first had the idea for this song because my college-aged son was looking for that special someone. The original title was "Am I Lonely For You?" I was trying to capture the feeling a young person has when they're looking at each person wondering if they are the one they're looking for. But as the song progressed and was critiqued, it evolved into what it has become.
Song Description
This song has been interpreted two ways: Someone longing to restore a broken relationship; someone longing for someone who has passed away

It?s Christmas Time?Again ©
It?s Christmas time again; yet, I?m so all alone.
Do you remember when I had you to call my own?
Across a crowded room I look?and see your face.
I long to hold you. Hold me. I?m so lonely for you.
As you turn my way, a memory comes to mind.
We met on Christmas day and you placed your hand in mine.
Now carols fill the air and firelight warms your face.
I long to hold you. Hold me. I?m so lonely for you.
A holiday of love is what I?m dreaming of
With chestnut fires and love?s desire.
I long to hold you close and never let you go
As seasons pass; a love that lasts.
So as the snowflakes fall I?ll say a prayer and see
If you?ll return, my love. A special Christmas gift to me.
Beneath the mistletoe, before the night is through
I long to hold you. Hold me. I?m so lonely for you.
Oh?I long to hold you?Hold me?I?m so lonely?for you.
It's Christmas Time?.Again.
