Story Behind The Song
I wrote this at an open jam I went to on the North side of Chicago. I was the only chick to show up to play. There was one other lady there and that was Carol, the bartender. She caught my eye as I watched her bust her ass pouring drinks and shots and cleaning up all these rowdy boys just having a good time wanting to get up at their shot to play some 12 bar blues.

If Budweiser, Guiness, Old Style or even Jack Daniel's are looking to put a commercial together to tip their had to bartenders, I would love to license this song for it!

Lyrics
Carol heads to work with an over sized coffee
She's sippin' it down because of last night's party
She's kept those drinks coming for all these years
She wipes down their spit and their tears
Oh Carol busts her ass through all the noise
For those rowdy, rowdy blues boys
Carol walks in to open for the night
She turns on that neon Bud Light sign
She welcome's her first guy with a smile
She pours him and ice cold Old Style
Oh Carol busts her ass in Chicago, Illinois
For those rowdy, rowdy blues boys
Carol locks the door and heads home singing
She can still hear those 12 bars ringing
She loves the happiness she served out
A little Jack, a Bud or a Guiness Stout
Oh, Carol busts her ass with so much joy
For those drunk, rowdy blues boys
