Story Behind The Song

I was going through a breakup. My now ex boyfriend kept asking me if I was ok? When I wouldn't answer my phone because I was tired of the "are you ok" question he came over and asked if I was hurting? Duh! This song started out as a funny commentary on how this guy totally broke my heart and then wouldn't stop asking if I was ok. It didn't end up a "funny" song but putting it that context at first helped me heal in the writing of it.
