Story Behind The Song
Just one I thought of when my boyfriend was running around to the bar's.
Song Description
This song is one I wrote thinking that Gretchen Wilson might do, it seems to fit her. I wrote this about a boyfriend I once had, but I only had a male vocalist to do it, so it had to switch to a male, It would not take much to convert it back.

Lyrics
?I?m not Here to crash The Party? written by Kaye Logan 9/9/2005
He came into the bar, tequila in his hand
He had that look in his eye ?like he didn?t give a damn
Every one was watching, wondering what was on his mind
I?m not here to start no trouble, I just need some salt and lime
I?m looking for my baby, I know she came this way
I? just came here to tell her and bring her home today
He took that salt and mixed it with a little bit of lime
Down the shot and licked his hand, and said it one more time
Chorus:
I?m not here to crash the party, I?m not all that tough
His eyes are on my baby, and tonight I?ve had enough
He started all those rumors he?s gonna take my place
I?m not here to crash the party, just warn him face to face
So set me up another shot and bring that salt and lime
I?m not here to crash the party I?m here to get what?s mine
I watched him as he smiled and downed another shot
He said I?m here to see just what that ole boy has got
One thing is for certain, I?m not here to mess around
If he?s lookin for some trouble, that?s exactly what he?s found
My baby?s eyes might wonder, her hands might even roam
But he ain?t gettin what she?s got, she?s got it all at home
So if he heard my warning, I?ll leave like I came in
If he don?t like what I?m sayin? then let the fight begin
Repeat Chorus: Tag: I?m not here to crash the party
Second Chorus: Forget the salt and lime
