Story Behind The Song

This song happened to me shortly after 911-why it took me so long to get it recorded I'm not really sure. But it seemed right on this record. Our country has been through some difficult, trying times since 911 and numerous challenges are on the horizon. Some things are a certainty to me-such as the foundations upon which this country was founded-all men are created equal-among other aspects of the constitution-rings true to me. A second certainty is in the goodness and character of the American people-sometimes our government is suspect-but I have faith in the American people, and in our democracy -that the American people will honor our forefathers sacrifices and stand together to protect our freedoms.
