a very large and growing number of our homeless are veterans. these guys need our support and help even after the uniform is taken off. i started this song a couple years ago. with the help of co-writer keith taylor and the magic of jason wyatt came about. hoping with this write to convey this huge need out there on the streets.
Song Description
i've always had a soft spot for the homeless, how sad when we have so much. and the number of veterans finding life overwhelming when they return home is growing. giving a dollar helps him get through the day, hearing him say 'god bless' should turn heads around...most rush on.

Lyrics
There he is again
The man with no name
Sitting on the corner
Living off what we throw away
(chorus)
He's the man with no name
Broken down but he don't complain
Needs some help but we just turn away
Could be you on that corner some day
Think about it as you look away
Bound to die alone
No words on his stone
Traded his honor
His medals are long gone
(repeat chorus)
Oh oh oh
Lost his only soul
No place left to go
Knows more than he shows
Takes up dollars he's going to blow
(bridge)
His old army jacket's been around...see how it's protecting him now
He holds on to being proud even with the noise in his head so loud
(repeat chorus)
(tag outro)
What did he do wrong
The man with no name
Sitting on that corner so long
What did he do wrong
The man with no name
Everday's just the same
The man with no name
