This tracks "idea" is good and could possibly work with an arrangement, but the recording "as is" definitely needs work! In fact, it was difficult to listen to with all of the distortion on the recording. I rated this track strictly on its merit, overlooking the substandard recording.
This is a grat song. Very funky. It's too bad the recording is so bad. Nice guitar line (what I can make out without being distracted by the distortion). Distortion used intentionally can be a very effective and useful device but it this case it's not. The musicians are great. Please re record this.
Love the groove in this track, has a 1980's feel. Catchy guitar hook and good brass fills. Nice rhythm guitar. Some very good impro in the bridge.
