Story Behind The Song
This song was inspired when I was driving home from band rehearsal last April 2010 and saw a rare event. A GREEN fireball with a brilliant colored tail of sparks was seen traveling horizontally across the sky at approximately the altitude of a small passenger airplane. It seemed to be flying over the northern part of Cedar Rapids toward the northeast when I lost visual due to the trees and buildings.
If you have only a small amount of information to begin a song, where do you go from there to fill out the other verses? Being a HUGE fan of the "Men in Black" movies, I tied the story line in with the juxtaposition of aliens from outer space and the more "traditional" Illegal aliens.

There is much discussion about the controversial topic of "Illegals" infiltrating the borders of our country these days, but not many are paying attention to the "other" Illegals (space aliens) that come and go with no apparent government oversight.
