Story Behind The Song

I wanted to write a song that was a little more upbeat than my normal ballads.

Song Description

The song describes a person whose just had enough. The relationship he's in feels more like pain than love. He has given his all to make the relationship work, but it has become way to complicated and one sided. he's come to the painful conclusion that it would be easier to move on.

Don't dress yourself in something red, and lay yourself upon my bed, cause that won't work the way it did before. I don't need no conversation, i don't want to talk anymore. That sound you hear is my heart breaking, for evermore. I don't want to compromise, decide whose wrong, decide whose right, i don't want to do this anymore. I don't want to make new plans, decide we're better off as friends. I've got feeling i just can't ignore. I thought there'd be some hesitation on the night you left, walked out the door.
