Song Description
After writing this song, we decided to set up a few mikes and just save it for future reference. We liked the "demo" so much we included it on the album. It is a very "unplugged" recording with minimal processing, done in one take.

Lyrics
I Dreamed I Was A Sailor
Copyright 2007 KOOTS
I dreamed I was a Sailor
Along a lonely coast
I left my home and family
The ones I loved the most
And we sailed on Christmas morning
In the year of 1910
Chasing down the whaling
South past the Falklands
And I hear you
Hear you calling
When sailors fall to dreaming
Amid the oceans? foam
They seek the light of harbors
And memories of home
And when the voyage is over
And the dreaming ends
Will I wake to find you
Beside me once again?
And I feel you
Feel you near me
I woke with you beside me
As the ghosts inside me passed
The dawn arrives in colors
I?m in your arms at last
Or is it only mermaids? songs
Spun of sailors yarns?
That wraps themselves around me
While drowning in your arms
And I want you
I want you near me
