Story Behind The Song
This song was written based on a character in a play who was dreaming of the day that the man she had been living with for 15 years would finally pop the magic question. Sad to say, however this did not happen, but it doesn't stop her from creating an imaginary wedding in her mind and in this song.
Song Description
"I'm Getting Married" reflects on how long we single ladies wait for that magical question from our future spouses. We dream of that special day when we get married and the romantic in us revels on how exciting that day will be.

Lyrics
Sunshine, lights up the sky
But not like the joy in my heart
Moonlight and birds in flight
Cannot tame the winds of my soul
For I have waited oh so long
For a moment such as this
Just to say I'm engaged to be married
And though the time has passed me by
Something that I can't deny
There is love in my heart that's worth sharing
Oh all those dreams and hopes for tomorrow
Seem to fade each day that passes by
But I still have hope for one dream to come true
That I'm Getting Married
Someday the bells will be tolling for me
And love will be mine
Oh yes, when I get Married
I know, it's hard to believe
But this I just know in my heart
He'll ask, and I will say YES
And there we will be happily
And when I'm walkin' down that aisle
You will see me as I smile
I will wave grandurally to my patrons
And then I'll have wedding ring
Mr., Mrs. they will sing
Finally I will be a respected lady
Oh all those dreams and hopes for tomorrow
Seem to fade each day that passes by
But I still have hope for one dream to come true
That I'm Getting Married
Someday the bells will be tolling for me
And love will be mine
Oh yes, when I get Married
When I Get Married!
