Story Behind The Song
On El Hierro, the smallest of the Canary Islands, we fell in love with the ocean ! Her waves, her energy, her beauty gave us the inspiration for this song.
The lyrics came spontaneously while composing the guitarriff and it was only afterwards that we discovered that "Aroha o Mar" would mean "in love with the ocean" in the Maori language.
