Story Behind The Song
We dedicated an entire year to writing and recording a 1940s-style, big band Christmas album. The idea for this song was spawned on by the fact that no one gives props to Mrs. Claus.
Song Description
A kid (or adult) writes a letter to Mrs. Claus singing her praises for being a silent sheroe/supporter in the shadows of her man, Santa Claus.

Lyrics
DEAR MRS. CLAUS (DEATON, NORRIS, DEATON)
DEAR MRS. CLAUS, I'M WRITIN' YOU A LETTER
I HOPE IT BEATS THE WEATHER
THE FORCAST IS SNOW
DEAR MRS. CLAUS, I REALLY GOTTA TELL YA
THAT SANTA'S A GOOD FELLA
BUT HE'S STEALIN THE SHOW
OH HE GET'S BAGS AND BAGS OF LETTERS UP AND DOWN THE HALL
EVERY YEAR THEY'RE STACKED UP A MILE TALL
WHILE HE GETS ALL THE CREDIT YOU GET NOTHING AT ALL
I CAN'T BELIEVE NOBODY'S PUT YOUR NAME IN A SONG
DEAR MRS. CLAUS, YOU'RE SO DESERVING OF ATTENTION
OH AND DID I MENTION, WE'RE COUNTING ON YOU, TOO
DEAR MRS. CLAUS, I KNOW YOU HOLD IT ALL TOGETHER
LIKE TWO BIRDS OF A FEATHER
WHAT WOULD HE DO WITHOUT YOU
BEHIND EVERY GOOD MAN THERE'S A GOOD WOMAN
SO KEEP DOIN' WHAT YOU'RE DOIN' EVEN WHEN IT SEEMS LIKE NOBODY'S LOOKIN', CAUSE I AM
DEAR MRS. CLAUS, I'M WRITIN' YOU A LETTER
I HOPE IT BEATS THE WEATHER
DEAR MRS. CLAUS
DEAR MRS., DEAR MRS., DEAR MRS., DEAR MRS. CLAUS
