Story Behind The Song

Juli (co writer) wanted a Jodie Messsina type of "driving down a country road with the wind in my hair and leaving my troubles behind" type of song. Asked if I could come up with a song about turning my life around and giving it back to Jesus. God gave me this tune and she helped me clean it up.

Song Description

Song about a lot of hard lessons which made me re-think how I had been doing things. It also discusses the gratitude and joy in letting Jesus take over as Lord of my life. It's not some new phase I'm going through, but a real life transformation.
