Lyrics

WISH UPON A STAR Words and Music by Lisbee

VERSE ONE
When we close our eyes and dream
We find something in the seams of love that penetrates our hearts
But when we wish upon a star
Does it wonder if we?ve seen the lives that are torn apart?

CHORUS
And all we seem to know about is what we see for ourselves - for ourselves
And all we seem to care about is what we see for ourselves - for ourselves

VERSE TWO
And when I close my eyes and dream
I find something in the seams of hope that penetrates my heart
And when I wish upon a star
I wish I knew what we are and why we are so blind

CHORUS
And all we seem to know about is what we see for ourselves - for ourselves
And all we seem to care about is what we see for ourselves - for ourselves

BRIDGE
How can we dream of happiness if we dream our dreams alone?
How can we ignore the pain when the pain is our own?

CHORUS
I?m wishing for a better world, not just for ourselves ? not just for ourselves
And hoping we have time enough to see it for ourselves ? for ourselves
