Lyrics
Sometimes I feel so cold and lonely
seems no one seems to hear.
But I see the stars, I see the clowns, and the heroes that I made for myself.
I have dreams
I have visions
They're dancin' out my windows.
All I want is the merry-go-round that I made for myself.
I see the people moving slowly
as they pass on by.
They seem to wanna' ask me a question.
I don't know how to reply.
I've made a special place for myself
where little girls go and hide,
a safe place for me to play
where little girls know to smile.
I said see me,
hear me,
I cannot speak at all.
I see the stars
I see the clowns
and the heroes that I made for myself.
I have dreams and I have visions,
they're dancin' out my window
but all I want is that merry-go-round
that I made for myself.
I see the angels comin' down
they're all comin' face to face now.
They seem to wanna' ask me a questions
and I turn to tell them.
'I can't seem to fly
but I know where I'm goin'
and they start to tell me
See us
hear us
we cannot speak at all.
We see the stars
we see the clowns
and the heroes that you made for yourself.
We have dreams and we have visions
they're dancin' out your window
but all we want is that merry-go-round
that you made for yourself.
