Story Behind The Song
I was told that pretty conclusivley that I had breast cancer. I was devastated and this is the song that I wrote while trying to get a grip and understand the possibiltiy that my life was so fragile and my future so uncertain. This was March of 2007. After two different procedures and a lumpectomy in June of 2007 I was told that it was not cancerous. This was a true miracle as the original mammo said "Highly suspcicious of malignancy"

Lyrics
I Haven't Quite Finished (Loving You)
One sun in the sky
Two sons by my side
One life in this body of mine
So much love in your arms
I am armed with it's power
To face what is facing me
I love feeling your love for me
And little by little one step at a time
I'll scale any mountain that I'm forced to climb
I know in my heart and I know in my mind
My time is not through here
The world is still new
There is too much that I've yet to do
Like I haven't quite finished loving you
One moon in the night
Two hearts share the light
Won over by love's sweet design
Is it chance or by fate
That we're here in this moment?
A moment to last a whole life
And our love keeps my spirit alive
Little by little one step at a time
I'll scale any mountain that I'm forced to climb
I know in my heart and I know in my mind
My time is not through here
The world is still new
There is too much that I've yet to do
Like I haven't quite finished loving you
It's too soon to end but never too late
To change our way of thinking
Just love me and trust love
To give us the strength that we'll need
And little by little one step at a time
We'll scale any mountain that we're forced to climb
I know in my heart and I know in my mind
My time is not through here
The world is still new
There is too much that I've left to do
Like I haven't quite finished loving you
No I haven't quite finished
Loving you
