Story Behind The Song
It's silly, really. Pride. I wanted to create a song that would be difficult for my buddy, who is a much more accomplished guitarist than I, to play. Especially since he likes to play perfect (1 pass) takes. It kind of spun out of control to almost 5 minutes... Try that in 1 take, dude. =)
Song Description
Acoustic was:
Martin DSM through a Rode NT-1 mic plugged into a Europower PMP 2000 Mixer.
Lead Guitar was:
80's Charvel 475 through an MT-2 Metalzone pedal, 1970's Thomas Organ Cry Baby Wah pedal plugged into a Trainwreck Attenuator to squeeze the sound down before it hits my 80's Peavey VTM 120 Tube head and mic'd with the Rode NT-1 coming from my 80's "Wall of Sound" Peavey 4-12 cabinet, then in through the mic with the mixer setup going to the Roland VS-890 DAW.
Drums were:
Zoom RT-223 sequencer.
I'd like to thank the Academy...
