IFYP (Instrumental Version)

Story Behind The Song

IFYP was inspired by the pop rock bands of the 90s. Born from the simple synth line that starts the song, a combination of "canned" beats, and drum machines were then used to create the drum tracks on top. Once the foundation was built, a wall of sound with multiple guitars, synthesizers and basses were layered on top. Vocals were eventually added, singing lyrics that reflect a cynical attitude towards change and conformity. The full vocal version of the songs was used as the opening track on the Alien Mustache(Matthew C. Bauder's sometimes used alias) Album entitled Magnitude.
