Story Behind The Song
Mirage was written as a part of a collection of songs I was working on that all have themes of science fiction, travel and mysticism. The inspiration behind Mirage was a tale of soldiers marching across a great expanse in a foreign land only to be taken by surprise from a brutal attack by an unknown enemy.
Song Description
An experimental marching orchestral rock song with acoustic guitars, piano, bass, drums, woodwinds, and vocal choir that builds upon a somber melodic theme and a marching snare beat to a smashing climax. Mirage is both mystical and ominous, solemn and striking. Perfect for a dramatic scene where tension steadily builds, to a climax or scenes with a religious, military or marching motif.
