The story behind this song was inspired by a girl I knew who had a crappy break up and ended up latching onto me as the rebound guy and how similar situations happened to my 2 roommates at exactly the same time
Song Description
This song has a slow waltz feel with purely electronic sounds accompanying my acoustic guitar. The lyrics are simple and straight forward. I was going for a very modern pop sound for the verse then a full on 4 piece rock band for the chorus. I wanted it to encourage fans of electronic pop/r&b to be drawn in by the verse then be blown away by the rock n' roll chorus.
