Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song specifically with the Neon Trees in mind. Many of their songs talk about, or mention, kissing. I thought of my own experience, and thought of a time that I had trouble kissing a particular girl. It took 2 dates! That didn't usually happen. I found it very amusing, and so I thought it'd be fun to write about it. I tried to get that light-hearted self-depricating tone in the lyrics and music.
