Story Behind The Song
Israel, 1995 - Moshe Daniel was reading Anne Rice's "The Vampire Lestat" and was very inspired to write this song. He was not able to name it "The Vampire Lestat" but this song would be perfect for that movie series. It is about the split between good and evil, and how they get intertwined.
Song Description
The struggle between good and evil, the choice that is always there to choose the light versus evil, a vampire sits brooding and remembering his life, while he entreats his victims not to be afraid of him.

Lyrics
Immorduality
Verse1:
Do you see the picture of the moon inside the lake? That is the image of my heart trapped to my fate.
And every time I hear the soft blood flowing through your veins, I think I will go mad with this pleasure that I will take.
Chorus 1:
But please don't look at me in fear, just look away, just close your eyes.
Cause there's no hope for you my dear.
Do you know what waits for you when the light inside you dies?
Verse 2:
You ask me the way to love, I say it's all there in your heart.
You ask me what it's all about and I don't know where to start.
I'm a fool to speak of pain that you cannot understand
and of all the Love that would stop your heart exactly where you stand.
Chorus 2:
But please don't look at me in fear. Lower your gaze if you can't meet my eyes
Cause there's no hope for you my dear.
Do you know what waits for you on the other side?
Verse 3:
In me the Lord and the devil both evenly reside.
The devil you know how I got that name with your scream that's trapped inside.
The Lord weeps for mortality cause his children ain't supposed to die,
as I cry for the setting sun, dropping from your eyes.
Chorus 3:
But please don't look at me in fear, just look away just close your eyes.
Cause there's just one hope for you my dear,
that you'll take the gift and be forever slave to the hunger for the light...
Bridge
Your life is the blessing that you'd give up so fast
My love has been cursed and I'll never let go of my grasp
My appetite, your beauty, they bring water to my mouth
I want to leave but I can't; I guess that's what it's all about.
Verse 4:
Did you feel the conflict in me when I flashed you my teeth
and then you saw the tears of blood flowing down my cheek?
My memory serves to torture and you so well remind
Of all I loved so can you blame that I would see you dying?
Chorus 4:
But please don't look at me in fear, and wait for my mouth, to close your eyes.
Cause there's one hope for you my dear.
Do you know what waits for you on the other side?
