Story Behind The Song

After recently losing a cousin to a tragic accident at the tender age of 21, I began to think about how quickly my own boys are growing. It was inspired by Daniel, but is for any parent to their child.

Children grow up too fast. Then, we have to let them go. The kids are ready. The parents aren't. It's the realization that that time will get here more quickly then we feared possible. We, as parents, face the challenge of bringing these young people
