Story Behind The Song
This is a song about what Joee was going through at the time in his love life. He was in a long-term relationship that was sure to end up in marriage, but he just wasn't ready for the commitment considering he still didn't feel like an adult.
Song Description
This is a catchy pop song inspired by the fear of marriage and growing up in general. This was the first song we put together as a band, we did it in one rehearsal and it's been a staple of our live show ever since. The thing that is always said about the song is that it's catchy, but has deeper influences than you might first think (Rush, the Police, Radiohead).

Lyrics
I don't know why
But getting older makes me terrified
Sad, but it's true
As we get hot
I'm picking up the hints your girlfriends drop
That it's up to me
And it's down to you
I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't even face the mirror when it looks at me
I won't cry because I can't imagine what it's like getting down on one knee
What's wrong with me?
Stuck in time
And I wonder if your starting to see the signs
That I'm immature
I watch cartoons
And I don't plan to grow up any time soon
Sad but it's true
It's down to you
I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't even face the mirror when it looks at me
I won't cry because I can't imagine what it's like getting down on one knee
What's wrong with me?
I feel I'm running out of time and I can't make up my mind
I feel I'm running out of time and I can't make up my mind
I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't even face the mirror when it looks at me
I won't cry because I can't imagine what it's like getting down on one knee
What's wrong with me?
I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't even face the mirror when it looks at me
I won't cry because I can't imagine what it's like getting down on one knee
