"Filth!" is a 21st century update of a song I originally wrote in 1980.

Song Description

"Filth!" is about poor personal hygiene, pornography, sleazy politics, dishonest relationships, corruption in the record industry, air and water pollution, foul language, pop marketing trends, and bad housekeeping. And you can dance to it!

You look around and it is everywhere you look
You eat it every day in everything you cook
It's in your kitchen and it's even in your air
You smell it every day, but still it's always there

It's in your movies and it's even on your mind
It's in your magazines, it's gonna make you blind
It's in your water and it's out there on the street
I guarantee there's some in everything you eat

You're full of filth, I think that's all there is to you
And I can feel the filth in every thing you do
Each word you utter is more filthy than before
And I can find a trail of filth that leads right to your door

It's on the television, on the radio
It fills the heads of almost everyone you know
You hear it in the words you're even hearing now
You know that filth is everybody's sacred cow

It's all there is to breathe, unless you count the air
It seeps out of your scalp and creeps into your hair
It burns your nostrils and it irritates your eyes
And I can't take another of your filthy lies
