Story Behind The Song
I follow the belief that, as much as we may want God's (The Beloved's) Love, He (or She), although anxious for the same, knows that things can only happen when we (The Seekers) are ready, i.e., when the time is right.
Since I also feel that God is a combination of masculine and feminine characteristics rather than exclusively one or the other, and God is always portrayed as a man, I thought that this piece should have God's part sung by a female.

(The Seeker)
Beloved One, who beats life's drum
and so directs our days.
Oh, answer, please, this heart perplexed,
The meaning of your ways
Such simple things, like what to do and
what to say and how to live this love
while I wait for the morning's dawn,
How much time, my Lord?
(The Beloved)
All in time, all in time
solves the rhymes, My love
You're anguished heart and your suffering mind,
resolve in time, My love.
Instrumental
(The Beloved)
Thinking (judging) not, abhoring not,
loving all you see, My love
This will show the way to your place in Me.
All in time, My love
(The Seeker)
But, what to do, and what to say?
How to live this love, My Lord?
(Unison)
While we wait for the morning's dawn,
(The Seeker)
How much time, my Lord?
(The Beloved)
All in time, My love!
(The Seeker)
But, how much time my Lord?
(The Beloved)
All in time, My Love
