Lyrics
Hello there my friend, how are you?
Where are my manners, please sit, please do!
I know this looks strange so let me explain
Just what I am doing down here.
It started the day I was born.
My brothers were quacking, just like horns!
It seems they couldnÂ't wait to swim in the lake,
While all I could feel was my fear.
One day as we marched in a line,
I waddled a little far behind.
I stopped and I found water close to the ground,
And thatÂ's how I got my name.
CHORUS
IÂ'm Puddles, PUDDLES THE DUCK.
Call me Puddles, PUDDLES THE DUCK.
I donÂ't want to bathe or swim in the lake,
The water is just too deep.
Call me Puddles, PUDDLES THE DUCK.
ThatÂ's right Â- Puddles, PUDDLES THE DUCK.
IÂ'll stick to my choice of puddles and rejoice
That IÂ'm Puddles, PUDDLES THE DUCK.
My brothers came back to find me.
What they found, they couldnÂ't believe.
I was swimming around in the new home IÂ'd found
Created by drops of rain.
So now they all come visit me
And they tell me the lakeÂ's not that deep!
So I went and I tried it and I found they were right,
But I like my home just the same!
