Story Behind The Song
I envisioned what it must be like for so many people in America who are behind bars (the highest per-capita rate in the WORLD!) knowing that someday they will be released. I'm guessing a large percentage are hopeful they can resume their lives as it was before incarceration, yet have no idea if that will actually happen or not.
Song Description
Guy breaks the law and goes to prison for an extended stay. He is about to be released and he is hoping somehow that he will be able to pick back up where he left off with his ex-girlfriend/wife. He is hopeful they will be able to get "Back To Yesterday."

Lyrics
BACK TO YESTERDAY - SUBMISSION
Lyrics:
I was hoping you'd agree
It probably couldn't hurt
If we tried to get
Back to Yesterday
Back to Yesterday
Back to Yesterday
Baby what do you say
We try to get Back To Yesterday
You know it wasn't my decision
To leave your world behind
But when you fight the law
Sometimes you're gonna take a fall
And all you can do is
Wait for passing time
Back to Yesterday
Back to Yesterday
Baby what do you say
We try to get Back To Yesterday
Back to Yesterday
Although I'll see you tomorrow
Girl I wonder if you're still the same
I've been in seclusion
In a state of confusion
Wondering can we get
Back to Yesterday
Back to Yesterday
Back to Yesterday
Baby what do you say
We try to get Back To Yesterday
Back to Yesterday
