Story Behind The Song

I wrote this song over the Thanksgiving Holiday in 2015--something really different for Penelope's Thrill--a kind of indie dance tune with a political message. This was soon after the November bombings in Paris and Beirut and other terrorist atrocities around the world--not to mention the plague of gun violence across the U.S. Thanks to my wife Barbara for the soaring soprano vocals. Andrew and I trade off singing the verses. --Tim

We're heading....back home.
We're checking....all our phones.
