Story Behind The Song

I wrote a lyric and cd book on months of the year with spelling for my elementary classes. It is called "Sing the Calendar Song."

I don't have a long description. It is a young children's Christmas sog.

Come on all you children sing loud so I can hear
About the jolly old man with the long white beard.
He wears a velvet hat on his fuzzy old head.
Do you know what the color is? (Red), the color it is red.

Now this jolly old man has a dozen little friends
And they all look like very tiny little men.
They make toys and put them on the shelves.
Do you know what they're called?
(Elves) Yes, they're called elves.

Isn't it fun to sing a song, around the Christmas tree

Drives a team of tiny reindeer.
He calls to Rudolph, "now won't you lead the way."
Do you know what he rides in (A sleigh) Yes, it's a sleigh.
