Story Behind The Song
This is sort of a musique concrete piece using a song I made up to be a camp song.
This song was recorded circa 1993, mostly at the University of Minnesota electronic music studio.
Song Description
It was part of some weirdest stuff I was doing for some classes I took at the U of M. They had some really cool stuff in that studio! The opening voice was actually my computer. At the time, it was some pretty advanced speech for a desktop computer. I think it was a Mac Color Classic, and the voice may have been the Talking Moose. The TA for the class liked the song, but groaned at my "Cosmos" ending. What can I say, "Cosmos" had some cool music (by Vangelis).

Lyrics
Oh, I went to the doctor and do you know what he said?
He said I'm cuckoo in the head.
He said what you need is 4 weeks in bed,
Just 'cause I'm cuckoo in the head.
Cuckoo, cuckoo, ha, ha, I'm cuckoo in the head!
Everywhere I go, until I'm dead,
I'll always be cuckoo in the head!
Oh the doctor he could cure me, 'least that is what he said,
Just 'cause I'm cuckoo in the head!
I told him there is something, I'd rather have instead,
Always to be cuckoo in the head!
Cuckoo, cuckoo, ha, ha, I'm cuckoo in the head!
Everywhere I go, until I'm dead,
I'll always be cuckoo in the head!
