Story Behind The Song
I was playing at small town festival called "Hillbilly FUN Days" in a band called "The Cosmobillys". It was a hot day and when the church ladies showed up the bass player said "The church ladies are here, you know what that means, Church Lady Pie. So we took a break and sat down in the shade and ate church lady pie. I thought it was haevenly so I wrote a song about it the next day.

Lyrics
verse#1
On one partly sunny Sunday
I went down to the Brandon
Hillbilly fun day
The clouds were on parade
Looking down from the sky
As we were sitting round in the shade
Eating church-lady pie
