Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song for my granddaughter.
Song Description
She used to like to dance to my music when she was a little girl. It kind of made me happy and sad at the same time because I knew it wouldn't be long before she grew up and started living her own life and I wouldn't be seeing as much of her anymore.

Lyrics
verse#1
where does the time go?
I'd like to know
lost between the twilight
and the dawn
I've looked high and low
but wouldn't you know
seems like it's here one day
and the next it's gone
bridge
there's a little girl I know
with flaxen hair
it brightens up my world
to have her there
verse#2
she's growing up so fast
it's too good to last
and I suppose no one knows
where the time goes
bridge
ooh that smarts
she's tugging at my heart
and at my hand
I better start enjoying this part
while I still can
verse#3
cause things are going to change
it seems such a shame
just to know
that no one knows
where the time goes
