Story Behind The Song
I heard a guy talking about all the things he did with his son and daughter and how he couldn't remember those times very well because it was so long ago. So, I wrote a song to capture those feelings of remembering.
Song Description
This song is about remembering all the fun things we remember about our kids when they were little. It's sad that the memories of those times fade. We want to always keep them part of ourselves so that we don't forget.

Lyrics
Ballet shoes, satin dresses that swirl
Pretty purses, and beads for my little girl.
Goofy grins, eyes lookin? up at me
Ice cream faces, wet kisses on my cheek.
(chorus)
Why do these memories seem to slip away
The night takes over at the end of day
I love to remember all these shrouded dreams
I love to recall these faded memories.
Baseball caps, that worn-out leather glove
Slide at third base, and cheering from above.
Amusement parks, walking hand in hand
Cotton candy, adoring eyes of love, and
(chorus)
(bridge)
Well, maybe one day someday soon I can relive
These resurrected memories all over again, in my children?s children.
(chorus)
