Lyrics

Jeanie, why do you wonder bout that dress tonight
Do you think that it looks alright, well baby - its OK.

Jeanie, why don't my words ever come out right
They never seem to come out right, no matter what I say.

You know I'm always gonna love you
So wipe those tears away
You know I'm always gonna love you
Forever and always
Forever and always.

Jeanie, you ask me if I love you
You ask me if I love you, what can I say
Jeanie, you ask just on more time, You ask me just one more time adding to my pain.

You know I'm always gonna love you
You know I wouldn't change a thing
You know I'm always gonna love you
Forever and always, Forever and always
Forever and always, Jeanie, Forever and all ways.

The melody on the piano is really beautiful!! It's a pleasant love tune. It has a British Invasion sound from the 60's, which is a huge favorite of mine!! There are several places where the music is a tad bassy and needs to be mixed differently! I think with a better mix this would be quite an excellent composition!!! Good job!!

I think the song at it's roots is catchy and has a nice hook. The melody and lyrics are something that you could find yourself singing later in the day. The thunder was very cool also, fit nicely.

Emotional song. Clearly the singer has a connection to it.

The track and lyrics are nice, very well arranged.

There's always a niche for a love song with a certain girl's name in it, and this one's name is Jeannie. A heartfelt plea for understanding how much he loves her, backed by a nice sounding piano.

The piano has a good sound.

This is a nice lament style of song with a distinctive husky vocal and clear lyrics, plus a strong piano accompaniment, giving it a kind of Billy Joel feel to it. The song is such, that it could be played with a guitar, or as heard, a piano, it doesn't depend on mass production to make it work. This artist obviously knew Jeannie (however it was spelt) it was heartfelt and genuine.

This is a bit of a throwback...In fact I kinda got transported back to the Brill Building...I can see this singer pitching this song in it's raw form to some guys smoking cigars.
Fully produced and back in the 60's or 70's this might have had a good reception.

I like the vocals. The piano is nice. The arrangement is very good.

nice tone on the piano, nice message
